  Montu was ranked as the 10th best steel roller coaster in the country by Amusement Today, in their annual Golden Ticket awards. SheiKra came in at 19 on the list, while Kumba came in at 27. Click here to see the complete list.

1. Depressing that BGT didn’t make any other top 5 – I expected to see them listed under landscaping at least. Oh well.

2. Actually, the Golden Ticket Awards includes coasters and parks from all over the world. So Montu is #10 in the world, and #9 in the country.

3. Montu has consistently been in the top ten ever since it opened in 1996. A real testament to the design of the ride. Way to go BGA and B&M
