Jungala, Seaworld, & a New Coaster
Feb 26, 09:49 AM by Graham Brooks

The official Jungala site is finally operational. It features a few games for kids, wallpaper downloads, and some information about what lies inside Jungala, but nothing really that has not been known.

SeaWorld is set to make a major announcement this week, and many signs point to it being a new roller coaster for 2009. What does this mean for Busch Gardens? Well, with rumors still existing for that elusive 2009 hyper coaster in Tampa, the SeaWorld announcement could be the final nail in the coffin to any possibilities as Anheuser-Busch is unlikely to build rides that would distract attention from one another. I just haven’t seen any indication the whole time that anything is going to happen in 2009 at Busch Gardens, but there is always a slim chance we could all be shocked. 2010, 11, and 12 are much likely times that we may see a new roller coaster at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.

  1. On Screamscape it was said that the announcement is going to be so big that Busch IV will make the announcement. Could it be something else other than a Coaster?

  2. I’ve heard those rumors as well. I don’t think BGA will be getting a coaster in the near future with the additions of Jungala and Sheikra going floorless. I was at SWO last week and noticed they’ve walled a large area off from the Flamingo area up front almost to the Dolphin and Whale Stadium (near JTA) which, I think will most likealy will be for landscaping improvements. Remember, there’s also the Bayside Stadium area which I believe isn’t being used now. I’ve also heard that SWO maybe getting a B&M Flying coaster. But that’s only what I’ve heard.
